Took his BA in Radio-TV, and Film. Then, he took his MA in English Studies. Later, he took his PhD in Media and Communication Studies. He was guest researcher at the University of Bologna, department of Communication Disciplines (now, Philosophy and Communication) in 2009-2010 academic year. Besides his published papers, he is the editor of Past Traumas: The Representation of History and Peace Education and co-editor of Education in a Multicultural Cyprus (co-edited with Iacovos Psaltis, Nicos Anastasiou, Hubert Faustmann, Maria Hadjipavlou and Marilena Zackheos). Towards the end of 2019, he translated Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s Le Petit Prince into Turkish Cypriot dialect with Ahmet Serdar Gökaşan as Güçük Prens. Some of his research interests are: new capitalism and its relation with communication, Emmanuel Levinas, and semiotics.
