The exhibition of the head of ARUCAD Plastic Arts Department, Assist. Prof. A. Ceren Asmaz, titled “Arabesque”, opens at 18:30 on Wednesday, 3 June at Art Space, the events venue of the university in Nicosia.
Art Space, which has been on an enforced break from its activities at the venue due to Covid-19, opens its doors again on June 3rd with its first exhibition since the pandemic began. The exhibition will open in safety, with all the guidelines for dealing with Covid-19 taken into account.
The exhibition consists of the artist’s glass works. Asmaz’s compositions generally consist of drawings that begin and end at the same point. The twisting forms, deformed human and animal bodies and fairy tale effects she creates appear before us with a strong expression and childishness. The exhibition can be viewed at ARUCAD Art Space located in Mufti Raci Efendi Street, Nicosia between 3-25 June.
