Arkin University of Creative Arts and Design (ARUCAD), and BOCCHI, a leading company in the bathroom and kitchen products sector, with its 70 years of experience, are collaborating for “Sustainable Art.” The competition aims to increase awareness on the importance of recycling and reevaluating materials in artistic creations with the goal of achieving “Zero Waste.” Additionally, it aims to showcase the works produced by ARUCAD students and graduates on an international platform. In this collaboration, a sustainable art competition titled “Beauty in the Breakage: From Broken to Beautiful” is being organised.
Initiated by BOCCHI, this collaboration focuses on the reevaluation of industrially produced but damaged and unusable sinks and washbasins in order to encourage the creative use of recycled materials by Fine Arts students. The competition encourages ARUCAD students to use their creativity to create art pieces. The competition, named “Beauty in the Breakage: From Broken to Beautiful,” not only encourages ARUCAD students and graduates to explore sustainable art forms through the creative use of recycled materials, but also provides an opportunity to closely experience the ceramics industry.
