The general cooperation protocol signed last year between Arkın University of Creative Arts and Design (ARUCAD) and Girne Rehabilitation Centre (Cheshire Home) has been renewed for a second year. The primary goal under the protocol is to continue the collaboration between the two institutions in social, cultural, educational, and community-beneficial activities, especially within the framework of the concept of philanthropy.
Following a year of cooperation, Chairman of the Board of Girne Rehabilitation Centre (Cheshire Home) Mehmet Metin Şenova visited ARUCAD Rector, Prof. Dr. Asım Vehbi. During the visit, the protocol was renewed, and Şenova emphasised the importance of the cooperation whilst expressing great happiness at the continuation of the protocol. Şenova stated, “This contribution is highly valuable for the Girne Rehabilitation Centre, which was established in 1995 in Northern Cyprus entirely with donations from volunteers to serve individuals with special needs.”
ARUCAD Rector, Prof. Dr. Asım Vehbi noted that their one-year collaboration has been heartening for both parties and that working together towards their goals has been a source of pride for both institutions.
