Arkin of University Creative Arts and Design (ARUCAD) has received approval from the Higher Education Council (YÖK) for its Textile and Fashion Design, Archaeology, and Urban Design and Landscape Architecture Departments.
After receipt of approval from YÖK, Arkin University of Creative Arts and Design will begin accepting students from the Republic of Turkey for its Urban Design and Landscape Architecture Department and the Archaeology Department and Textile and Fashion Design Department.
The University, which provides education focused on art, design, and communication, will have a total of 16 departments listed in the 2023 Higher Education Programmes and Quotas Guide, including the 3 newly approved departments. Among the departments, ARUCAD will offer a total of 344 places, including those for departments that admit students through special aptitude exams.
In the ARUCAD Faculty of Art are the departments of Fine Arts, Photography, Ceramics, Film Design and Management, Archaeology, Textile and Fashion Design. In the Faculty of Design are Architecture, Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, Industrial Design, Urban Design and Landscape Architecture Departments. The Communication Faculty includes the departments of Digital Game Design, Visual Communication Design, New Media and Communication. The Faculty of Music and Performing Arts comprises the departments of Modern Dance, Acting, and Sound Art Design.

This year, the University offers a 50% scholarship guarantee to students who are citizens of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (KKTC) and/or have completed 4 years of uninterrupted high school education in KKTC as Turkish citizens. Candidates are able to increase their scholarships up to 100% by participating in interviews. Candidates can apply for the scholarship interview which takes place on Monday, July 17th, online through the University’s website. The university continues to accept students for all its departments, providing extensive scholarship opportunities.
