Arkin University of Creative Arts and Design (ARUCAD) Rector, Prof. Dr. Asım Vehbi attended the opening ceremony of the International Search and Rescue Games, which took place on Friday, May 3rd, along with his delegation. This year, the International Search and Rescue Games, organised for the sixth time, has been hosted by the Civil Defense Organisation.
Vehbi expressed his gratitude to all the teams contributing to the successful organisation and wished success to the teams participating in the competition. The opening ceremony of the games began with a procession of participating university delegations. The ceremony, attended by search and rescue club students from ten universities operating in the TRNC and one university from the Republic of Turkey, ended with speeches, a commemorative photo shoot, the lighting of a torch, and a tour of the games area.
