The art and design store ‘Craft Created’, where specially designed print, ceramic, painting, sculpture and glass works produced in the workshops of ARUCAD, as well as publicity/promotional products of the University, was opened in Nicosia Surlariçi.
Handcrafted print, glass and ceramic artworks designed and produced in the workshops of the University are available for purchase in the ‘Craft Created’ art and design store in Ankara Street, right behind the Art Space in Surlariçi, Nicosia. ARUCAD’s Art Space, where exhibitions and workshops of both Cypriot and international artists working in the fields of art, architecture, design and media is open to the public.
‘Craft Created’, where the works produced in the printing, glass, ceramics, painting and sculpture workshops of the university are also exhibited and sold, includes the works of ARUCAD students, as well as the designers and artists who carry out their work individually in Cyprus, providing the opportunity to exhibit their works and find buyers.
The ‘Craft Created’ art and design store also aims to provide financial support to artists and designers on the island who are devoted to art and continue to produce works in line with their possibilities, as well as the students of ARUCAD.
ARUCAD’s ‘Craft Created’ art and design store is open between 08.30 – 17.30 on weekdays and 08.30 – 13.30 on Saturdays, in Sulariçi, Nicosia, on Ankara Street behind Art Space. More information about the art and design shop can be found at 0533 862 47 71.
