Arkın University of Creative Arts and Design (ARUCAD) has added a new PhD programme to its postgraduate offerings. The university has begun accepting students for the Media and Communication Studies (Turkish) PhD Programme, which will commence in the 2024-2025 Academic Year.
ARUCAD, the only university in Cyprus and the region focused on education in art, design, and communication, has expanded its doctoral programmes in Architecture, Art and Culture Management, and Proficiency in Art with the addition of a Media and Communication Studies (Turkish) PhD Programme. This programme offers a rich, diverse range of research and practical opportunities covering all aspects of contemporary media and communication disciplines. Its goal is to train academics who can investigate and question what media and communication tools mean to societies, to develop interdisciplinary collaborations, and to integrate with various integrated fields.
ARUCAD Rector Prof. Dr. Asım Vehbi made a statement regarding the newly launched PhD programme, saying, “At ARUCAD, we have added another programme to our master’s and doctoral offerings that provide in-depth knowledge and experience in the fields of art, design, and communication. With the Media and Communication Studies (Turkish) PhD Programme that we have launched this year, we offer students the opportunity to build successful careers both in academia and the media industry.”
Applications for ARUCAD’s Postgraduate Programmes Continue
Candidates can apply for ARUCAD’s master’s programmes in the fields of Art, Architectural Design, and Communication Studies, as well as doctoral programmes in Architecture, Proficiency in Art, Art and Culture Management, and Media and Communication Studies for the 2024-2025 Academic Year. The university offers scholarships of up to 100% for both TRNC citizens and international student applicants applying to master’s and doctoral programmes.
