In the Hot Glass Workshop, molten glass material up to 1200°C can be shaped with metal or wooden tools. Owing to the fluid nature of molten glass, it enables three-dimensional sculptures with an inner cavity, functional products, unusual forms, architectural decorations, lighting designs or artistic productions in different forms. This workshop, which, owing to the use of highly molten glass material, requires an intense work plan in physical and mental terms, also calls for great care in terms of hand and eye coordination and the effective use of the working space. In the hot glass workshop, our students can create original designs and works by recognising the importance of teamwork while shaping their imaginations with technical equipment.
