ARUCAD was at Girne Ramadan Cemil Square for World Art Day

Arkin University of Creative Arts and Design (ARUCAD) organized a meaningful event at Girne Ramadan Cemil Square on April 15, celebrating World Art Day. Under the slogan 'The World is Bright with Art,' a large panel was placed in the square, transforming it into a canvas where passers-by could freely express their emotions.
Starting from early morning, the event saw significant participation from individuals of all ages, from children to adults, creating their unique artworks with brushes. The colors and creativity that filled the square attracted considerable attention from attendees. Additionally, students from ARUCAD’s Contemporary  Dance Department performed a dance show at the square, captivating the audience.
ARUCAD Rector Prof. Dr. Asım Vehbi visited the event area and delivered a special message for World Art Day. In his message, Vehbi stated: “Art is not merely an individual creative process; it is a bridge preserving cultural richness and carrying it from the past to the future. Artists are the architects of this bridge.
Art finds its true meaning when it connects with every segment of society. In line with the vision of our founder Erbil Arkın, we at ARUCAD see it as our responsibility to bring art into every aspect of life and establish lasting and strong bonds between society and art.
With this sense of responsibility, we are delighted to come together with the community on World Art Day, April 15, at Ramadan Cemil Square, providing everyone an opportunity to express themselves.
World Art Day is an important occasion to remember the unifying and transformative power of art. May the voice of freedom, expression, and creativity in art always resonate in our lives. Happy World Art Day."
The event served as an important bridge, once again highlighting the accessibility of art to every segment of society.
