The ARUCAD Career and Alumni Office supports our students and graduates throughout their career journeys, facilitates access to employment and internship opportunities, contributes to their preparation for professional life, and strengthens the bond between our alumni and ARUCAD.

Vision
To become a nationally and internationally recognized Career and Alumni Relations Office that connects students and graduates in the fields of creative arts, design, communication, and performing arts with the professional world; integrates career development as an essential component of the educational experience; and serves as a model of excellence through a strong alumni network, diverse employment and internship opportunities, career development initiatives, and sustainable institutional and industry partnerships.
Mission
The mission of the Career and Alumni Office is to enhance the employability skills of ARUCAD students and graduates, support them in making informed career decisions, and provide the guidance they need in preparing for professional life.
Within this scope, the Office supports students and graduates in accessing employment and internship opportunities and provides career counselling on preparing effective CVs, cover letters and motivation letters, as well as on job-search and interview processes. By maintaining sustainable communication with graduates, the Office aims to keep alumni information up to date, strengthen career-oriented connections between students and graduates, and enhance university – industry collaboration.
Career Guidance
As part of career guidance services, students are supported in exploring their interests, skills, values, and personality traits, developing self-awareness, and identifying potential career options in line with their strengths and preferences. Individual guidance is provided to help students set career goals, evaluate post-graduation employment and postgraduate education opportunities, and manage the transition into professional life.
CV & Application Support
Students and graduates are supported in preparing for job, internship, and postgraduate education applications. Guidance is provided on preparing and reviewing CVs, cover letters, and motivation letters, as well as on portfolio preparation when needed.
Interview & Job Search
Students and graduates are supported in developing effective job search strategies. Guidance is provided on evaluating job vacancies, identifying appropriate application methods, building professional networks, researching the job market, and making effective use of online career platforms.
As part of interview preparation, guidance is offered on interview techniques, professional communication, and body language. When appropriate, mock interviews are conducted to help participants improve their interview skills, strengthen their responses, and approach professional interviews with greater confidence and preparation.
Job and Internship Opportunities
Students and graduates are supported in accessing job and internship opportunities that are relevant to their fields of study and areas of expertise. Current job and internship vacancies are regularly monitored, and suitable opportunities are shared with our students and alumni.
ARUCAD collaborates with various institutions and organisations to provide internship opportunities that enable students to complement their academic knowledge with professional experience and further develop their vocational skills.
- Bayrak Radio Television Corporation (BRT)
Students interested in pursuing careers in media and communication have the opportunity, through ARUCAD’s collaboration with BRT, to gain first-hand insight into a professional media environment and acquire practical experience.
- Cherry Red
Students studying digital media and design can gain practical experience in digital content production and design processes through internship opportunities at Cherry Red.
- Media Life Advertising Agency
Students interested in careers in advertising and media can undertake internships at Media Life Advertising Agency and gain hands-on experience in media and advertising projects.
- Antrakt Advertising Agency
Students pursuing careers in advertising, marketing, and media have the opportunity, through ARUCAD’s collaboration with Antrakt Advertising Agency, to become familiar with industry practices and gain practical experience.
- Turkish Agency Cyprus (TAK)
Through ARUCAD’s collaboration with Turkish Agency Cyprus, students can benefit from internship and field training opportunities and gain first-hand experience of professional working processes in the media sector.
- Cyprus Turkish Journalists’ Association (KTGB)
Through the collaboration with the Cyprus Turkish Journalists’ Association, students may benefit from internship, field training, and practical work opportunities.
- FYVE Active
Students pursuing careers in fashion and textile design can undertake internships at FYVE Active, enabling them to become familiar with the professional working environment of the industry and gain practical experience.
- Made by ZA
Students pursuing careers in fashion and textile design can gain professional experience and become familiar with industry practices through internships at Made by ZA.
- Sittiga Öztoprak Fashion House
Fashion and textile design students can undertake internships at Sittiga Öztoprak Fashion House, where they can observe professional industry practices and gain hands-on experience.
- Onurlu Ltd.
Students pursuing careers in photography can undertake internships at Onurlu Ltd., gaining insight into professional photography production processes while developing their technical and creative skills.
- KTMMOB Chamber of Interior Architects
Students studying interior architecture and related fields are supported in participating in internships, field studies, and professional observation activities.
- KTMMOB Chamber of Landscape Architects
Students are supported in participating in internships, field studies, and professional observation activities in landscape architecture and related fields.
- Arkın Pruva
Students studying yacht and marine design are supported in gaining industry experience through internship opportunities at Arkın Pruva.
- Colony
Internship opportunities are offered at Colony to students studying in the fields of art, design, communication, gastronomy, and culinary arts.
- Palm Beach
Internship opportunities are offered at Palm Beach to students studying in the fields of art, design, communication, gastronomy, and culinary arts.
- The House
Students studying art, design, communication, gastronomy, and culinary arts are supported in gaining professional experience through internship opportunities at The House.
- Adanır Architecture and Engineering Office
ARUCAD students studying architecture and related fields are offered four internship placements, renewed each academic term.
- Türkiye Theatre Foundation
Internship and practical programme opportunities are offered to support students in gaining professional experience in the fields of art, theatre, and culture.
Through the Alumni Portal, Alumni Newspaper, department-based alumni meetings, and alumni–student events, ARUCAD maintains sustainable communication with its graduates. Alumni career development is followed, success stories are highlighted, and opportunities are created for graduates to share their professional experiences with current students.
