Instrumental music is approached here as a self-contained narrative space shaped through sound, memory, and atmosphere. The presentation focuses on compositional strategies such as recurring motifs, imagined artifacts, lo-fi aesthetics, and production limitations as tools for building emotionally resonant musical worlds without words.
Asst. Prof. Dr. İnal Bilsel works at the intersection of music and visual arts. His orchestral works have been performed by the London Symphony Orchestra, and his albums have been released by Epic Istanbul (Sony Music Turkey). He has performed at festivals including Sonar Istanbul (TR), Buffer Fringe (CY), and Fengaros (CY). He completed his PhD in Music Composition at Royal Holloway, University of London, and has been the Head of the Sound Arts and Design Department at ARUCAD since 2022.
