ARUCAD Admitted to Membership of the International Association of Universities

ARUCAD, Uluslararası Üniversiteler Birliği Üyeliğine Kabul Edildi

Arkin University of Creative Arts and Design (ARUCAD) has been officially admitted to membership of the International Association of Universities (IAU), one of the world’s most established and respected networks in the field of higher education. Operating in cooperation with UNESCO, the Association aims to contribute to the development of higher education on a global scale by bringing together universities from different countries on a common platform.

Through its membership in the International Association of Universities, ARUCAD has become part of a broad international network that enhances opportunities for collaboration, research, knowledge exchange, and academic interaction with universities worldwide. This membership will enable the university to participate in international projects, diversify its academic partnerships, and offer its students a wider scope for mobility and global experience.

The International Association of Universities organizes regular meetings, conducts thematic research, develops policy initiatives, and produces international reports focused on the future of higher education. Working groups within the Association carry out joint evaluations in areas such as quality assurance, digitalization, sustainability, and access to higher education. ARUCAD’s membership will allow the university to closely follow current academic trends while actively engaging in international higher education platforms.

As part of its joint initiatives with UNESCO, the Association develops the World Higher Education Database (WHED), providing member institutions with enhanced visibility and international accessibility. ARUCAD’s inclusion in WHED will contribute to a stronger global representation of the university’s academic identity within the international higher education community.
