Following their championship title at the 24th Sports Games organized by the TRNC University Sports Federation, the Arkin University of Creative Arts and Design (ARUCAD) Men’s Table Tennis Team traveled to Burdur to compete in the UNILIG Table Tennis Turkish Championship, organized by the Turkish University Sports Federation (TUSF). The tournament is being held at the facilities of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University.
Competing among 51 men’s and 32 women’s teams, ARUCAD delivered a strong performance on the opening day of the tournament, held on April 14, 2026. The team secured a 3–1 victory against Boğaziçi University in their first match, followed by a decisive 3–0 win over Ankara University. In their final match of the day, ARUCAD defeated Dokuz Eylül University 3–1, completing the group stage unbeaten.
With this successful performance, the ARUCAD Men’s Table Tennis Team finished first in their group and advanced to the main draw of the championship. The team’s progress in the next stages of the tournament is eagerly anticipated.
