Prepared as part of the graduation projects, “The Pillowman” meets the audience

Created by Acting Department student Yalın Doğasal within the scope of the OYNC402 Graduation Project and Portfolio course, the production brings Martin McDonagh’s acclaimed contemporary play “The Pillowman” to the stage.

Set in a totalitarian regime, the play follows a writer who is suddenly taken from his home and interrogated by two detectives for reasons unknown to him. Exploring themes such as violence, childhood trauma, and freedom of expression, the production draws the audience into a dark and unsettling narrative.
