Training on “Understanding and Implementing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)” Held at ARUCAD

Arkin University of Creative Arts and Design (ARUCAD) Sustainability Center hosted a training session titled “Understanding and Implementing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)” on May 22, 2026, at the ARUCAD Conference Hall.

The training was delivered by Nilay Öztürk and focused on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), exploring how these goals can be integrated into education, research, and institutional practices.

Throughout the event, the global significance of sustainability was highlighted, while discussions addressed the role of SDG principles within academic studies, social impact projects, and institutional strategies. Participants gained insight into the environmental, social, economic, and cultural dimensions of sustainable development.

The session also included examples of how sustainability-oriented thinking can be fostered within universities, the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration, and practical approaches for adapting SDG principles into everyday institutional practices.
