Students from the Contemporary Dance Department of Arkin University of Creative Arts and Design (ARUCAD) achieved outstanding success at the 2025–2026 Inter-University Dance Competition organised by the North Cyprus University Sports Federation on May 22, 2026, winning gold medals in four different categories.
Nehir Nur Çelik won first place in the All Style Solo category with her original choreography titled “Summertime.” In the Hip Hop Solo category, Cemre Yavuz received first prize with her own choreography, while Daria Teplykh was awarded first place in the Modern Dance Solo category.
ARUCAD students Diana Bikbulat, Nehir Nur Çelik and Simay Ekin Karabıyık also won first place in the Modern Dance Group category with the performance “Divine Intervention,” choreographed by Doğa Uluçlar.
With these results, ARUCAD Contemporary Dance students achieved success in both individual and group performance categories across different dance disciplines.
