A protocol covering academic collaboration between Arkin University of Creative Arts and Design (ARUCAD) and Anatolia Science Academy has been signed. The protocol was signed by ARUCAD Rector Prof. Dr. Asım Vehbi and Anatolia Science Academy General Coordinator Prof. Dr. Mehmet Karataş.
With this protocol, the two institutions will collaborate in scientific events such as congresses, symposiums, and workshops, provide new opportunities for academic staff, and support research processes. As part of the cooperation, the 7th International Congress on Landscape Architecture and Research (ICLAR) will be held at ARUCAD. Joint committees will be established for the organization, promotion, and academic content development of the congress, and necessary infrastructure work will be carried out.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, ARUCAD Rector Prof. Dr. Asım Vehbi said, "Scientific research is one of the most important fields that universities must prioritize. We are working to support our academics and create new opportunities for them. I hope that by the end of 2025, a remarkable outcome will emerge."
Anatolia Science Academy General Coordinator Prof. Dr. Mehmet Karataş added, "By the end of this year, professionals in the field will gather at ARUCAD to analyze the current state of landscape architecture and discuss future perspectives. I would like to thank ARUCAD and Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Burcu Toker for guiding us on this path through the light of science and art, and for her invaluable support in realizing this organization."
The signed protocol aims to strengthen academic cooperation and establish an international knowledge-sharing network in the field of landscape architecture.
