ARUCAD and North Cyprus Turkcell Sign Cooperation Protocol

A cooperation protocol aimed at strengthening collaboration in the fields of education, technology, art, design, communication, and social benefit has been signed betweenArkin University of Creative Arts and Design (ARUCAD) and North Cyprus Turkcell (KKTCELL). The protocol was signed by ARUCAD Rector Prof. Dr. Asım Vehbi andNorth Cyprus Turkcell General Manager Murat Küçüközdemir.
The signing ceremony, held at ARUCAD’s main campus in Kyrenia, was also attended by North Cyprus Turkcell Deputy General Manager Deniz Mungan Sonuç, Brand Communications Manager Özlem Kavaz Soykan, as well as ARUCAD Vice Rector Dr. İbrahim Dalkılıç and Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Communication Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nuran Öze.
Prior to the signing ceremony, the North Cyprus Turkcell delegation visited the Glass and Ceramics Workshops at the ARUCAD campus, where they had the opportunity to closely observe the technical infrastructure of the workshops and the students’ production processes.
Within the scope of the signed cooperation protocol, the two institutions will collaborate on the development of joint educational programs, the implementation of scientific, social, and artistic initiatives, and the realization of joint projects in the areas of teaching, research, and community engagement, as well as student and staff exchanges.
The protocol also aims to provide internship opportunities for ARUCAD students within North Cyprus Turkcell, contributing to students’ professional development through training programs, workshops, mentorship initiatives, and applied field studies that will help them gain industry experience.
Furthermore, the cooperation includes the joint organization of artistic and cultural events and the development of educational and research projects in areas such as digital transformation, communication technologies, artificial intelligence, and new media. The collaboration will also encompass joint initiatives in social responsibility projects, awareness campaigns, and digital content production, where students will actively participate.
The protocol signed between the two institutions is expected to strengthen university–industry collaboration by contributing to the development of innovative projects in the fields of creative industries and communication technologies, while creating new opportunities for students.
