Students from the Ceramics Department and the Plastic Arts Department of Arkin University of Creative Arts and Design (ARUCAD) participated in an educational trip to İskele on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, to explore the historical development of Cypriot ceramics. The trip brought together 1st- and 2nd-year Ceramics students and 2nd-year Plastic Arts students, with visits to the St. Barnabas Archaeology and Icon Museum and the İskele Archaeology Museum. The trip was accompanied by Asst. Prof. Dr. Emre Çelikkol and Sen. Ins. Mümine Özdemirağ Yağlı.
During the visits, students examined archaeological ceramic works as well as early and classical period examples, gaining insight into historical production techniques and the use of moulds in ceramic making. The educational trip supported students in reinforcing their theoretical knowledge through direct observation and contributed to their technical and historical understanding of ceramic art.
