The Department of Contemporary Dance at Arkin University of Creative Arts and Design (ARUCAD) hosted dancer, choreographer, and academician Melih Kıraç for a workshop titled “Dance Installation.”
During the session, Kıraç shared insights from his recent works and presented the creative process of dance as an installation experience for students. His artistic approach, shaped since his early collaborations with Çıplak Ayaklar Company, is grounded in the idea of establishing a dialogue between dance, improvisation, video, and documentation.
The inspiring workshop, where movement, space, and creativity converged, was moderated by Asst. Prof. Dr. Handan Ergiydiren, Head of the Department of Contemporary Dance at ARUCAD Faculty of Music and Performing Arts.
