As part of its academic collaboration with Domus Academy, one of Italy’s leading postgraduate design schools, Arkın University of Creative Arts and Design (ARUCAD) held an online conference on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. The event brought together academics from various departments of Domus Academy and ARUCAD students in a direct exchange of knowledge and experience.
The online conference featured Prof. Dr. Gianfranco Olivotto from the Fashion Design Department, Prof. Dr. Elisa Chiodo from the Visual Brand Design Department, Prof. Dr. Aoi Hasegawa from the Interior Design Department, and Prof. Dr. Tim Power from the Urban and Architectural Design Department. During the event, Domus Academy’s interdisciplinary and project-based education approach was highlighted. Students’ questions on life in Milan, academic environment, application processes, internship opportunities, and career prospects were also addressed.
The conference was co-moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Elham Etemadi, Head of ARUCAD’s Textile and Fashion Design Department, and Evelina Scrivani, Senior Manager of International Partnerships and Academic Processes at Domus Academy.
Through this online event, students had the opportunity to engage directly with academics and gain in-depth insight into shaping their creative careers at an international level.
