ARUCAD Weekly Groove Gatherings Took Place at Bandabuliya Campus

Weekly Groove gatherings, where ARUCAD students come together to move, explore, and connect through dance, took place throughout December at the Bandabuliya Campus. Bringing together contemporary dance alongside hip-hop, vogue, breakdance, and jazz, the gatherings created an open and inclusive space for shared movement practices. Held on December 6, 13, 20, and 27, 2025, the sessions offered students the opportunity to experience rhythm, flow, and bodily awareness in a pressure-free environment. Rather than following a conventional class structure, Weekly Groove focused on collective experience, improvisation, and the joy of moving together. Moderated by Yağmur Özdağ, a student from the Contemporary Dance Department, the gatherings brought together participants from different departments, fostering an interdisciplinary atmosphere. Weekly Groove is planned to continue in the upcoming period, welcoming ARUCAD students to future gatherings.
