As part of its World Theatre Day celebrations, ARUCAD Acting Dept. presents The Zoo Story, one of the landmark works of modern theatre by Edward Albee.
First performed in 1959, The Zoo Story explores themes of alienation, isolation, and the breakdown of communication through a gripping encounter between two strangers on a bench in New York’s Central Park. With its raw dialogue and psychological depth, the play offers a powerful reflection on human disconnection in contemporary society.
The play has been translated into Turkish by İbrahim Keskin and is directed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Özgün Can Karaburun from ARUCAD’s Department of Acting. The cast includes Yalın Doğasal and Ersan Çıkı.
