With the main sponsorship of Arkın University of Creative Arts and Design (ARUCAD), the Presidential Symphony Orchestra of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus will present one of Franz Schubert’s unforgettable chamber music masterpieces, the Octet, to music lovers. The concert will take place on Saturday, October 11, at 8:00 PM at the “Blue Hall” of the Presidential Palace Complex.
Composed in 1824, the Octet is considered one of the most significant works in the chamber music repertoire, celebrated for its elegant melodies and rich instrumentation. Written for eight instruments, this monumental piece stands out for its technical mastery and melodic depth.
The concert will feature Murat Erginol and Aslı Sıla Akdağ (violin), Tüzel Ergün (viola), Pınar Bayraktar (cello), Tunç Çivril (double bass), Ömer Berk Taraklı (clarinet), Tılsım Bufe Muratal (bassoon), and Volkan Kartal (horn), promising an enchanting classical music experience for chamber music enthusiasts.
