A Collective Step Toward a Smoke-Free Campus at ARUCAD Our Campus, Our Choice!

In line with the Senate decision dated January 23, 2025, Arkin University of Creative Arts and Design (ARUCAD) has decided to initiate the necessary preparatory work for the potential implementation of a “Smoking in Designated Area” policy within the university premises.

This decision marks an important step aligned with our university’s institutional values promoting healthy living, environmental sustainability, and social awareness. Within this framework, designated smoking areas have been identified on campus, while all other areas have been designated as smoke-free zones. The relevant locations are indicated on the campus map shared below. Therefore, we invite you to share your ideas and suggestions regarding the possible implementation areas, awareness activities, and transition process of the “Smoking in Designated Area” plan through the feedback and suggestion boxes located across the campus. The feedback collected will guide the forthcoming implementation plan and be integrated into the decision-making process.

At ARUCAD, we believe that this collaboratively developed plan will contribute to enhancing the quality of campus life and raising social awareness within our community.
