Works by ARUCAD Students Exhibited in Baku

The artworks of five students from Arkın Creative Arts and Design University (ARUCAD) were featured in the international exhibition titled “Sərhədsiz İncəsənət” (Art Without Borders), held at the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art with the participation of 11 universities from 9 different countries. Opening on November 19, 2025, the exhibition brought together young artists from various disciplines, offering a broad international selection.

ARUCAD was represented at the exhibition by:

  • Sudenur Gençwith a sculpture,
  • Güzel Yusupovawith a glass art piece,
  • Liliya Kimwith a painting,
  • John Tristan Mojareswith a photograph,
  • Melihe Ghorbaniwith a weaving/textile work.

The students’ original pieces stood out among the notable works in the exhibition.

During his visit to Azerbaijan, ARUCAD Rector Prof. Dr. Asım Vehbi toured the exhibition together with the Union of Rectors of Turkish-Speaking Countries in Applied Arts, viewing the students’ works on site. Vehbi expressed his pleasure at seeing ARUCAD students gain visibility on international platforms, stating: “Such multinational exhibitions offer our students not only a new stage but also meaningful opportunities to connect creatively with different cultures.”

The exhibition aims to bring young artists’ works to a wider audience and to strengthen cultural exchange among the participating universities.
