The Cooperation Protocol Between ARUCAD and Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Has Been Expanded

The ongoing collaboration between Arkin University of Creative Arts and Design (ARUCAD) and Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University (ÇOMÜ) has been expanded with a new protocol, now encompassing a broader scope in scientific, artistic, social, and cultural fields. The extended partnership includes a wide range of activities such as student and faculty exchange programs, joint workshops, academic meetings, exhibitions, and practical applications.

The protocol was signed by ARUCAD Rector Prof. Dr. Asım Vehbi and ÇOMÜ Rector Prof. Dr. R. Cüneyt Erenoğlu. Speaking at the signing ceremony, ARUCAD Rector Prof. Dr. Asım Vehbi emphasized the importance of inter-university collaboration in higher education, stating: “We are delighted to host the Rector of Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University at our university. It is of great importance that universities combine their visions, resources, and motivation to collaborate in the production of science and art. Signing the protocol is the easy part; putting it into practice is our main goal. Through student and academic exchanges, and the creation of collaborative production environments, this protocol will offer significant opportunities for both institutions.”

ÇOMÜ Rector Prof. Dr. R. Cüneyt Erenoğlu expressed his appreciation for ARUCAD’s applied education environment, saying: “It was truly impressive to see ARUCAD’s applied teaching spaces firsthand and observe how well the curriculum is structured accordingly. I congratulate them for this. It is especially valuable for universities to act together in terms of international visibility. This protocol will significantly contribute to the scientific and artistic development of both institutions. We are excited to begin the student and faculty exchanges as soon as possible. In this context, we have invited ARUCAD to the International Çanakkale Ceramic Festival (ICCF), which will take place on May 9–11 in collaboration with ÇOMÜ. We would be very pleased to welcome them there.”

The protocol, valid for five years, foresees the organization of various joint events between the two universities, including symposia, panels, exhibitions, and workshops.
