Arkin University of Creative Arts and Design (ARUCAD) organised a seminar titled “Future of Creative Services” on 4 May 2026 at the ARUCAD Conference Hall, aimed at students from the Departments of Visual Communication Design and Digital Game Design.
The seminar was led by Mustafa Gökeri, Lead Product Designer at 4DEES design studio, who discussed the transformations that may occur in creative fields alongside the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. Highlighting the impact of technology on creative industries, Gökeri noted that advancements in AI are accelerating production processes and enabling broader participation within the sector.
Addressing the participants with the question, “Will your profession actually exist in the next five years?”, Gökeri emphasised that individuals aiming to build a future in creative fields must not only possess technical skills but also understand how to integrate technology into their creative practices. He pointed out that AI technologies are becoming increasingly embedded in everyday life, offering designers greater flexibility and speed in their work.
Gökeri also underlined that, whereas in the past collaborating with major companies often required working within established institutions, today the importance of time and place has significantly diminished. He stressed that what matters most now is the ability to understand the evolving needs of the industry and to effectively utilise technology in response to those needs. The seminar concluded with a Q&A session following the presentation.
