Students from the New Media and Communication Department at Arkın University of Creative Arts and Design (ARUCAD) visited prominent institutions in Northern Cyprus's communication sector as part of the Writing Techniques course taught by Assist. Prof. Dr. Huri Yontucu, meeting with industry professionals.

The students, accompanied by Vice Dean of the Faculty of Communication Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nuran Öze, Head of the Visual Communication Design Department Assist. Prof. Dr. Hakan Karahasan, and New Media and Communication faculty member Assist. Prof. Dr. Huri Yontucu, first visited the Turkish News Agency Cyprus (TAK). During their meeting with TAK Director Fehmi Gürdallı and Manager Gürkut Özgül Mutluyakalı, they were briefed on the agency's general operations and history. The discussion also addressed the growing impact of disinformation worldwide and strategies to combat it, with examples from Cyprus and Turkey.
Following the TAK visit, the students, accompanied by Dr. Yontucu, visited Haber Kıbrıs, where they met with Editor-in-Chief Hüseyin Ekmekçi, Deputy General Manager and Editorial Director Bertuğ Topal, and Online Publishing Coordinator İrfan Gündüzler. The discussions revolved around the evolution of digital media, its effects on journalism, ethical principles, and journalistic values.
One of the final stops on the program was MediaLife Advertising and Organization. During their meeting with agency owner Cem Vurgun, students explored topics such as the operations of digital advertising agencies, strategies for creating commercial films, and the importance of confidentiality agreements with clients.

Through these visits, ARUCAD students had the opportunity to examine current developments in the communication sector on-site while also strengthening their professional connections.
