ARUCAD Signs Cooperation Protocol with the Pen Research Institute

Arkin University of Creative Arts and Design (ARUCAD) has signed a cooperation protocol with the Pen Research Institute, based in the United States, with the aim of strengthening international academic collaborations.

The protocol was signed by ARUCAD Rector Prof. Dr. Asım Vehbi and Pen Research Institute Vice President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hasan Karacan. It builds on the academic collaboration that developed through the International Conference on Economics and Social Sciences (E&SS), hosted by ARUCAD since 2025. Following this year's conference, held on 30 June–1 July 2026, the signing of the protocol formally established the cooperation between the two institutions.

Under the protocol, the two institutions aim to jointly organise international conferences, symposiums and workshops, strengthen academic collaborations, and carry out joint initiatives in scientific events. The agreement also seeks to encourage the participation of academics and researchers in international scientific events, promote joint membership of organising and scientific committees, and support collaborative conference publications and promotional activities.

The protocol is expected to strengthen ARUCAD's international academic network and contribute to the development of new scientific collaborations.
