Students from the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts at Arkin University of Creative Arts and Design (ARUCAD) participated in the opening event of International Museum Day, organized by the Department of Antiquities and Museums under the Deputy Prime Ministry, Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment as part of Museum Week held between May 18–24.
The opening parade, which started at Kyrenia Gate on May 18, 2026, featured students from ARUCAD’s Sound Arts Design, Contemporary Dance and Acting departments. Wearing costumes inspired by the Roman, Medieval and Ottoman periods, the students joined the parade and reflected the connection between cultural heritage and art through a performative presentation.
ARUCAD students Abdullah Karaduman, Beren Çeliker, Cihan Erol Düzener, Diana Bikbulat, Elina Janabergenova, Fatima Saatova, Kadir Taşcan, Muhammed Fettah Tatlı, Nehir Nur Çelik, Ömer Faruk Dündar, Simay Ekin Karabıyık and Yusuf Aşık took part in the event.
