Presented by the Sound Arts and Design Department, Bandabuliya Modern Ensemble met the audience at Bandabuliya Stage.
Exploring guided improvisation, indeterminacy, and modal heterophonic performance, the ensemble created music in real time rather than following a fixed score. Through structural sections and performance signals, the musicians collectively shaped the direction of the works, offering audiences a unique and collaborative sonic experience.
Directed by Dr. Ataman Kınış, the performance brought together instrumentalists, vocalists, and electronic artists on the same stage, while also featuring sound works by Ratmir Ollabergenov. With its interdisciplinary approach, the concert presented an innovative and creative exploration of contemporary music practices.
