PHVD 102 Advanced Photography
Advanced Photography is a course intended to have more advanced technical skills after Basic Photography class. This course is based on the development of knowledge and skills in photography editing. Besides the settings such as colour, tone and contrast, filtering and effect techniques will also be taught.
PLAS 104 Basic Arts Education II (pre-requisite PLAS 103)
Basic art education aims to understand and experience plastic values on the basis of application. The course, which includes theoretical and technical knowledge on the use of texture, size/volume and material, trains students on field experience before moving on to the stage of creative production. The students learn all the basic concepts of art while continuing their aesthetic search of textures, structures and masses.
PHVD 104 Contemporary Photography of Art
The aim of this course is to provide an understanding of the technological changes in photography of art and tendencies in contemporary trends as well as comprehend ways of presenting them. In this manner, students will be able to recognise the different tendencies that they may be interested in, communicate with them, and thus position themselves within the contemporary art environment.
ARTE 101 History of Art I
History of Art I is a fundamental course following the tracks of the artistic development from prehistorical era to 19th Century in chronological order. The study of the works of art from relevant periods includes various inter-period comparisons in terms of political construct, economic-technological developments, and religion.
