ARUCAD Research Center founded in 2018, continues its activities in the fields of Art, Design and Mediterranean Culture in Cyprus and internationally. First of all, a Research Library has been established in order for researchers, students and those interested in the two communities of Cyprus to access scientific publications on art, design, and the cultural heritage of the Mediterranean. Many publications in different languages from the fields of archeology, anthropology, history, art, art history, and design allow the cultural heritage of the ancient Mediterranean and Cyprus to be researched. The foundation of the Research Library was founded by researcher Prof. Dr. Latife Summerer who has created special publication collection consisting of approximately 2000 books and journals and donated to ARUCAD in the 2018-2019 Academic Year. Starting from 2020, ARUCAD Research Center is led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Ehsan Daneshyar with research focus on the fields of Art, Design and Communication well as in the other branches of Social Sciences and Fine Arts. In this sense, the Research Center continues its efforts to publish a new academic journal, namely “ARUCAD Journal”.
