“Fashion Photography Workshop” Held at ARUCAD

Arkin University of Creative Arts and Design (ARUCAD) hosted the “Fashion Photography Workshop” on May 13, 2026, as part of the “Futuristic Attire Event” organised collaboratively by the Departments of Textile and Fashion Design and Photography.

Bringing together the disciplines of fashion design and fashion photography, the workshop provided participants with the opportunity to explore styling, visual storytelling, and fashion photography practices through futuristic attire concepts. Throughout the day, students engaged in practical sessions combining design and photographic production processes.

The first part of the workshop was led by Sen. Ins. Halil Madi and focused on fashion photography techniques, including lighting, composition, model direction, and visual storytelling within fashion imagery.

The second part of the event was conducted with Sen. Ins. Berke Uluşan, focusing on styling and preparation processes. Participants worked on futuristic fashion concepts, experimenting with garment styling, accessories, and visual coherence.

In the final session, the prepared styling concepts were documented through professional photography shoots. Students had the opportunity to translate their designs into visual productions while experiencing the relationship between fashion and visual communication.

The event contributed to the development of students’ creative thinking, teamwork, and hands-on production skills through an interdisciplinary approach to artistic practice.
