“Disconnect” brings together works by students, alumni, and artist-academic Turan Aksoy from Arkın Creative Arts and Design University (ARUCAD). Bringing together artists from diverse geographies and cultural backgrounds within a shared space of production and dialogue, the exhibition explores concepts such as memory and remembrance, reality and deformation, language, belonging, and fragmented forms of communication through painting, video, installation, photography, sculpture, and interdisciplinary practices.

Hosted by Mine Art Gallery DENEYSEL, one of Istanbul’s established contemporary art spaces, the exhibition also highlights ARUCAD’s multicultural creative environment, presenting a multi-voiced artistic encounter.
